My DD is wanting me to make some placemats, potholder, etc. of her MIL for Mother's Day. She got the idea from a panel we saw at Hancock Fabrics. It features a chef with black pants, red scarf, white shirt and a chef hat.

I have seen potholders and towels with this kind of print at Walmart and Target but can't find any fabric. I have tried different searches, but nothing is coming up. Any help or ideas will be so greatly appreciated. DD has a wonderful MIL and I would love to do this for DD.

do you know who the manufacturer of the panels is? Maybe you can find some co ordinating material in their line.

No, we were leaving when DD saw it. I didn't think to look at that, duh! It was only a panel and she wanted more.

Did you ask on the classifieds on this board? I've had a ton of luck looking for things there

I know what you're talking about and I'm sure I've seen it in a catalog such as Keepsake or Hancocks of Paducah. I looked at Keepsake and didn't see it, so I will look at a few and see if I can find it. It drives me crazy when I know I've seen it somewhere and can't put my finger on it immediately.

They have it at hancocks online if that helps and looks like it's on sale.
