How FUN is that!!! Was she going somewhere special in her unique dress and fancy car? Love the heels, too, but only the young can walk in those things!!

I made one for a friend once. I only had 22 bags to work with, so this is what I came up with.

Wow, Chasing Hawk, your daughter is one talented young woman (apple doesn't fall far from the tree).

Had to google to see what a Crown Royal bag was/where it comes from. I think the dress is cool, but a quilt? I'm guessing the bag is synthetic? I think a crazy quilt could work, but I do like what jjuhl came up with.

I have made several of them and they do hold up quite well. They just need to be washed on the gentle cycle with cold water. Can't seem to find pics of all of them but this was one ordered by a customer.

stupid question....is it a liquor, if so what kind. and who would drink that much to make a quilt of them?
I was always curious about this. You'd need a lot to make a quilt. Does anyone know what was in these bags originally.

I would type in "Crown Royal quilts" on Pinterest.

Yes, it's liquor ... whiskey. Fairly expensive, too, if I remember correctly. DH has been given some a time or two as a gift. He likes it occasionally. (Personally: yuck!) I guess a person could ask their friends to help save up the bags? I've seen them for sale on e Bay too. The bags are a gorgeous purple color, but I've heard they can be messy to work with. No personal experience with that, though.
