I did not bleed on the fabric but used the fabric for a pressure dressing.... you do what you have to do. Such a sacrifice!
I have not cut my finger since... I am being careful.

I am careful with my rotary cutter, but one of the worst things I ever did was burn my finger on the mini iron. I grabbed the iron. OMG did that hurt. I haven't used the iron since.

I did this last fall, and nearly severed a large chunk of my pinky. The next day, it was still bleeding, so I went to the doc. It should have had stitches, but it had been more than 18 hours, so they couldn't stitch due to possible infection. They butterflied it, and it hurt a good couple of weeks. I have a scar there now. OUCH!

I never have shoes on when in sewing room. Can't seem to sew with them on. I hope I don't drop the cutter, never really thought about that. Always think about stepping on pins though. I too have cut my fingers a few times. It hurts.

Wow, did I!! I was demonstrating to a newstudent the proper method of hqandling a cutter. When I laid it down, the blade was still a tiny bit exposed and you guessed it---
OUCH. "Well that's why we always close the blade" SHE is very careful.
