I recently posted that i received a new sewing machine for my birthday. Several of you asked me what i named it. I have never named a sewing machine before. GGinMcKinney told me she named hers Jan after the saleswoman who sold it to her. What did you name your machine and why?

Thanks for all the warm wishes for my birthday. I think the people here are so great.

I do not as well. People sometimes name their pianos and cars as well. If I ever name any appliance in my home it will be my vacuum. May I present "underused". :)

I guess we're all just different --and that's not a bad thing.

I haven't named my machines. DH usually gives the cars names and the animals nicknames. Don't tell him, but it I think it shows he really is just a softy although he balks at outright romance. lol! I usually have a hard time even naming the animals, let alone machines.

I call my Ellisimo DW which stands for Dream Weaver because that is what she helps me do! I am one of those nuts who has a name for everything.
