I made my first wall hanging and it is not laying flat as I was afraid it would do. It bows out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to lay flat? Thanks

A picture of it would help so we can see what the problem is. Thanks!

Thanks. I added a couple of pictures. Hope they help describe what I was saying.

If your wall is "drywall", you can use very fine straight pins to help stretch it out & secure it to the wall. That's what I do when I want to hang something without damaging the wall.

You could put a sleeve at the bottom of the quilt, then insert a rod, and the weight should help pull it flat.
