Default Desperate to find this pattern

I need this pattern to complete a President's challenge for our quilt guild but I am unable to find where I can purchase it. It is called Amish Quilt Houses I think! Any help will be greatly appreciated! I tried to post picture but failed miserably! LOL! So what else is new??!?

Couldn't you just use a standard 12" Schoolhouse block pattern (found free all over the Internet) and put in the 6" blocks of your choice instead of the usual pain square? It des not seem like you would need a pattern.

Have you tried drafting it yourself? It would be a lot of drafting, but the only part that looks tough to me is the bottom center feature block. They appear to be 12" blocks, so the door section would be a 6" square and the feature block would be 6" square. The tiny frame around each block might be .5". The roof would be a 12" by 3" strip with "flippy corners," and the chimneys would be pieced in a 1.5" strip, and the sky would be a 1.5" strip. The checkerboard sashing would be 2" wide. Then a .5" border, a 1" border, then a 6" border. Of course you have to add seam allowances to everything. Finished size would be 62 x 77 if my brain is still working.

That's a very cozy looking quilt. I can see why you like it. I hope you can get it made for your challenge.

It is a pattern from Thimble Creek quilt shop called Japanese Inn, not an Amish pattern, maybe that's why you were having trouble locating it. The pattern is available on their website, but it does seem like it would be fairly straightforward to make your own if you only need one block.

This pattern is in a book of log cabin patterns. I don't have the book right now, a friend borrowed it. I don't remember the exact name of the book or who wrote it. Not much help I know.

Oh my goodness! You all are so wonderful. I had not thought of figuring it out and making without a pattern ~ that is exactly what I am going to do!

Darren you are a god send with your measurements! I h.ave already found 12 6" blocks for the barn quilts.

You all are the greatest ~ thanks again! (Can you tell that I am excited to get started??)

Better to draft the pattern out then pay $33.
