I made most of the blocks and have the first 2 rows assembled. Just wondering if anyone else had finished theirs?

Yes, I finished mine but its not quilted yet. I used a dark navy print with time multicolored stars scattered in it for the background instead of black. I like how it turned out.

I took a couple pictures with my cell phone. The colors don't show up as bright as they really are but you can get the idea. I cut the outer border wider and added stars in two corners of the border to make it a little larger than the pattern called for. I used red, purple, green and blue for the inner border and will bind it in yellow.

Also, something like that will show you that stars are easier than most people think.

That's beautiful. Is it a book or BOM or regular pattern or...?

It was Planet Patchwork BOM from a couple years ago. It was not that difficult to do. Just follow the directions and the stars were born! It colors are much brighter than the ppicture. This is a cell phone picture and its not as true as I would like it to be.
