I subscribe to quilters newsletter on my iPad, love it and have bought copies of other mags on an individual basis, I love digital easy to see and easy to keep up with, and no paper piling up which weighs a ton, I also have a stand for my iPad if I want to do a project or something best 15 dollar investment ever...

If you push your button on the screen on the front on the IPad twice, it will life up and along the bottom of the screen (left and right) the things you downloaded will pop up on the screen, i.e. digital magazines. Scroll along the bottom only back and forth to each magazine. If you have an Apple TV (use to be $99) you can put your IPad screen up on your TV, even the magazine or your browser or email or movies or anything. Just scroll to the left before the fast foroward button is a square with a triangle. Push that button and click on 'Apple TV' and 'mirroring' and then touch the IPad screen and anything on your IPad will show up on your Apple screen. It's worth it. Apple TV gives you Netflix, Itunes, Hulu Plus, Itunes Music, Computers, Podcasts, Radio, Flickr, Wsj Live, Vimeo, NBA, MLB.TV, NHL and Trailers. It's really nice to have. It's a very small component. Size of a piece of bread.

I have all kinds of mags on my color Nook. It has a space made for them. Plus I have my PDF files for my embroidery machine that I study on it plus lots more. Including a PDF on a quilt that I designed. Its great because I can take it with me anywhere, even when I lay in bed at night. I'm trying to declutter so if possible I'm not buying any more paper mags. I can go to Barnes and Noble and get them 14 days for free or a really cheap monthly price. I love the one for Embroidery; great pictures and content.
