Connecting Threads has all their books go 40% off a few times a year. Looks like they're still on sale now, but I think it's going to end soon. http://www.connectingthreads.com/boo...ing_books.html

I recently ordered a book using Amazon--they tell you who has the book and who has it the cheapest. The one i ordered, even with the shipping was $6.00 less than my QS, so I feel pretty smart--now if it would just get here!

Some libraries (not our little local one but in bigger towns) have a Friendship Circle that sells used books on Saturday afternoons. I've bought several books from them very cheaply. What's the name of the book you want?

Do you live near a Half Price Bookstore. I have 2 near me and I haunt the quilting books there all the time! Have found some really good deals.

WARNING: Check for details. I found a site that offered $5.00 off first order on DVD or book. The catch is that unless you cancel membership within x number of days, you are charged a monthly membership fee of $19.95 -----:-(

Ask me how I know..................
