Default I was in a hurry to finish and made an oops!

I just finished putting binding on two quilts and quickly sewed the binding on the other two! Was so happy things were going along nicely. Was taking these to show my neighbor who had just moved away and we were invited over to see them and their new house. As she is a quilter too, she had seen some of the quilts I had been working on! Seem like a good idea. I seen a thread as I was finishing and I grabbed my sharp pointed scissors and snipped the thread and the backing of the material!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! So I sewed on an applique and signed it with date & name. I hope that will do it! I couldn't believe it. Moral of the story, is don't get in a hurry!

This is how I started putting a heart on the back of all my quilts. The first one was to cover a mistake but, everyone thought it was great so now it is my signature.

I've done that! I think that's why I like appliqués so much!

You did a nice job saving it! And thanks for the tip... I am in a hurry to finish a quilt project. I think I'll take a deep breath before cutting anything!;-)
