Yes it happens to me all the time. I go in the fabric store just needing one thing and I end up getting alot more. My husband loves going to the fabric store with me, I have to wait until either he gets off work or his days off.

Yes, mine likes to come in with me and help me pick out what to buy. He really does have good colour sense.

My husband understands my fabric addiction and tries his hardest not to be an enabler! If he comes into the fabric store with me I might as well stay home.

Ditto for me, my Hubby could care less what I'm doing, which makes it easier to slip the stuff by him. Not that he cares anyway. I could walk through the house with a long arm and a frame and he wouldn't have any idea what I'm doing. He might open the basement door for me so I can get it downstairs though. LOL.

My DH goes with me all the time. He has learned to go straight to the number thingy in JoAnnes and grab one first then he follows me around helping with material. I am sure this would not happen if he wasnt retired and has no hobby.

My fiance will take me to LQS when traveling, go in, carry what I hand to him, wait for me to check out and carry to the truck.

When at home he will only go if he is helping me with a gift for someone else, he usually picks up this tab. Otherwise I go to stock up on batting, notions, etc. alone that way I can take my time and look around and usually get in trouble finding projects to do in 2014.

He does help me out at home with washing, drying, ironing, carrying, folding, and setting up if I need to move closer to another machine for a project.

He even surprised me with a used industrial machine from Craigslist. Paid for it to be serviced.

He has even been asking me what I am doing and why while sewing pieces together. He admitted this weekend that he would be interested in learning to sew. He did not say quilt but sewing. Just maybe I can get him to expand his horizons into quilting too one day.

He is a keeper!

Mine only comes with me if we're traveling. At home, I go alone. He usually waits in the car with a book and is fine with that. When he comes in, he's just a distraction to me.

He would never in a million years suggest I buy something nor tell me not to buy anything. He does like the quilts when finished though.
