I can't say I have sat to cut! I just naturally stand up :) I think I feel more in control standing.

I've always stood to cut and I was just thinking to myself after getting Rhonda's templates that maybe, just maybe I can do it sitting down. Doctor doesn't want me doing it standing up until I heal from surgery. No bending over the table. But I think I might can swing it sitting down. I'm going to give it a try.

I have better control cutting when I'm standing. I don't see how I could hold the ruler steady while sitting.

I also sit when I cut. Almost have no choice. Have been sitting for years, so feel very comfortable doing it.

I am trying to learn to cut standing up. Right now I cut everything with my board on the floor. So you see, I have a very large cutting table! LOL I am just more comfortable using the floor and seem to have more control as well that way.

I have back issues also and I can only sit to cut. I lower my table to make it easier.

always have to stand while cutting out fabric. Can't get a good hold of cutter and ruler otherwise.

Happy standing,
simple quilter.
