I find myself helping other customers find things at JoAnn's because I know the store so well. Scary, huh?

I also help people find things at all the local fabric stores, but have have bought 2yds in the last month. I look a lot. But all the people at the grill and all the range workers at the golf club call my husband by his name.

No, you are just going to a shop that appreciates your business. Lucky you.

LOL...Good one...but don't worry about it until they begin to ask about your family members by name, or other personal information...

I don't think you have a problem, I think you are a very nice person who they like and enjoy helping.

The ladies at my local Hancock's Fabric get a smile on their face when they see me. haha I recently told them about a scrap quilt I was working on. They all said, "bring it in so we can see it!". Made me feel good and gave me confidence. I had already shown them the quilt I had made for my brother at Christmas.
