back in the late 70's early 80's my mom made many denim quilts and bought her batts from Midwest Nonwovens---i assume that's who you mean-
they were nice batts- and inexpensive
what i remember most about them was their loft---they were quite thick-
i did not know they were still around-
she also back then bought (bales) of denim jeans from Sears for something like $10
her, her husband and my siblings lived in a lighthouse back then and used heavy- warm quilts on their beds- and they sold them in the little gift shop during the tourist season.

Thank you for your reply. I was wondering about the loft. It is only sold in large amounts so I was wanting to feel comfortable in my purchase. I guess I will do more investigating before purchasing.
