What if you have 9 or more different fabrics you are working with? Do you iron them all first? or just cut them without ironing them? This is the first time i've worked with so many fabrics, I'm debating on doing all that ironing.... What's your opinion?

How can you assure an accurate cut if you don't iron first? Ironing is not one of my favorite things, but I accepted long ago, that the more ironing I do, the more accurate my blocks are (and less ripping)

I wash my fabric first so I have to iron! I also like my fabric REALLY stiff when I piece.

Iron and Starch the bejeezers out of them. After cutting, they piece beautifully with added body to them.

I only iron if it's wrinkled, or I can't get a good clean edge on it.

I iron and starch it into cardboard. It's the only way I can find to get good cuts.
