I have dreamt about building a new house with a HUGE sewing room and everything that I want in it. But what is really wierd is that no matter what I dream, there is a quilt in the dream somewhere and that quilt is usually the next one that I want to make!

I did last night. I think I was so full of excitement. I got a Featherweight at a garage sale and a Singer Purse. Both can be seen on the board!

I dream of the quilt I'm working on, or the other craft project, and how I can arrange it, change certain things. I also dream of new designs and patterns. Last Sunday I woke up with 4 new pattern designs in my head! I couldn't take time to draw them out until I made it to work and had a few brief minutes.
I sometimes wake up tired, but anxious to get to my quilting studio!

You are not alone.

I have worked out some complex problems I was too tired to tackle the nite before. In the morning I go to the sewing room, and they are as easy as could be!

I guess that is where the old expression "sleep on it" comes from. All this time I tought it was to keep me from throwing my sewing machine out of the window in the dark and beaning an unsuspecting neighbor walking by.

I dream about what I'm working on, quilts I want to make, just everything. Some mornings I have to get up and go straight to the sewing machine!

I am so glad to see I am not alone. I was beginning to think I was gonna have to stop quilting cause I was going crazy or something. I only wish my quilts were as beautiful in life as they are in my dreams. Many great ideas do come from my dreams. I just wish I felt rested. Thank you all for your dream stories, I feel better now.
