I use a dry hot iron to iron my fabric. I noticed some people here use steam which is understandable. But I also use Best Press spray while ironing and it really gets out wrinkles the best for me. (You can get it without fragrance). What do you use for ironing your fabric - steam or not?

I use an old $2.99 (thrift store) Sunbeam dry iron.

i NEVER put water into my irons- i keep a water bottle on the end of my ironing board- if my fabric needs a little spritz- and i don't want to use starch or sizing- i just pick up the spray bottle and give it a spritz----no hot drips- no leaking iron- has worked well for me for 45 years.

I use dry unless I have lots of wrinkles, then I spray a little water or spray starch.

Thanks for this tip. I need a spray bottle for water in my sewing room. Off to Walmart after work.

I normally use a dry iron, but if I need a little extra something, I put water in it.
