SIGH....I get so frustrated because I love sewing and quilting so much and cannot seem to make much progress no matter how hard I try. I look at the quilts/project on here and think...now why cant I make something that nice!

Don't worry. If it is something that you really want to do you will do it. If it is something that you think is beautiful ask yourself if it is in your tastes. Somethings are beautiful but they are not me. So admire and continue to grow.K

I get it when I look at award winning quilts and just can't imagine doing something like that! OMG... I can only imagine how hard that was to do and HOW did they do so much work!!

I love looking at the quilts here, even though I know I will never make one "good enough". But when I see my 20 year old son, or 27 year old daughter take their quilts somewhere for comfort; I know that in their eyes I am a perfect quilter!
Snugglin in love is what it is all about...not how good it is!

I admire all the quilts I see and I know none of mine will ever be show quality. I just love cutting up fabric and sewing it back together to see how it turns out.

Lol....Remember you have to crawl before you can walk. I can remember a time when I too was impatient but with each project, I learned something new. I read all the books and read all the tips...especially Judy Martin...she is a wonderful teacher. One couldn't ask for a better teacher to teach one quilting.

After I learned all the in's and out's and still learning, I was ready to do whatever. I don't care how much time it takes me to make a quilt because in the end, I will conquer it.

Have courage and continue on your journey, after all, it is a pleasant journey and you will arrive one day to your expectation....
