i have a lot of antique japanese and chinese textiles and i always hate cutting them up.

i think it bothers me so much because it gets harder and harder to find the really antique pieces.

You're simply dividing the litter and giving them space to grow into beautiful individuals. Just because you can't see the "whole" body, doesn't make them any less beautiful on the inside :)

Dreamer, one time I bought these really cute gingerbread boys wax candles, the kind you put in a burner with a votive underneath. I told the seller they were too cute to burn and I was afraid they would start screaming for me to blow the votive out!! She thought it was so funny that she put it in her listing lol

I did some fussy cutting today rather than multilate the characters. It won't take much of that to cure me. Too tedious.

Yes I have a great deal of trouble cuting up pancy fabric, I think I have some of every pancy i have ever seen and it sits in a basket in my sewing room like it is queen of the sewing room , knowing it will be a very long time before it sees the edge of the blade on my cutter. I just love this fabric. Cathy
