Hi, do you know how the edge of this pattern is made? The part that looks like a ribbon.

By looking at it, I would say triangles and squares or all triangles. Love the ribbon effect it gives.

Check Quilters Cache. I'm sure Marcia has a pattern for this under border patterns.

I thought so too, but I don't know if there is a regtangle in there some where. Would you think 4 patches with only 3 colors? (Maybe I'll try that to see if it's all in the arrangement) I tried to enlarge the picture to see, but it becomes so blurred.

THank you all. QuiltnNan I think that's it.
I have a pretty piece of material with Irises, too pretty to cut small. I want to make a table runner & make the twisted ribbon border. I will post a picture when I am done
