I also press every step of the way. I would rather find flaws before it is all put together. And it looks so nice pressed.

I always iron every step of the way. I think it does help but it just looks better too.

I press the seams before I cross them (if it isn't a charity quilt) and iron the whole quilt top before actual quilting.

Yes, finger press.

I do press after I finish the whole thing and before I put the sandwich together, though.

And yet I avoid ironing clothes...
