Thanks for the info, Grammybev. I'll bet some googling will turn up something helpful. I know the scallops look appliqued but up-close examination looks like they're machine-stitched. Did you make a quilt from that pattern? Very difficult? The majority of my quilts are donated to vets so I keep them pretty simple but like to make a new pattern each time.

Just the ribbon effect on this border would look great on a vet's quilt. A beautiful quilt all the way around.

My pattern calls for applique for the scallops and stars to connect the scallops where they have flowers. this was a wall hanging but can be made into a quilt . I was hand stitching the whole thing .since it was a reproduction block from the late 19th century quilt signed Jemena Ault . I have blocks made but haven't put it together yet .I kinda lost intrest in sewing for a while and trying to get myself motivated again.I found an address for Stitches Through Time ,101 South Lincolin Ave.,Moorestown New Jersey 08057 pattern was copyright 2006 maybe this will help.

Better late than never??? I just saw this thread while searching for another... I do know that scalloped border is in more than one of my vintage magazines and its appliqued to the white border strips. I recall that you adjust the scallops length to fit your specific border size and I think possibly the corners can be adjusted as well. If you haven't found it by now you can PM me and I'll look for it for you. Jan
