btiny 36 did a drawing that is close enough to the design, except that the squares are larger in the original design. If you are new to quilting, btiny's design would be more suitable for you as you would not have to make the minor adjustments. I think it is a striking design.

That was what I was picturing in my mind on how to construct it.
