What is the difference between freezer paper and foundation paper? Wow, from this question you can tell I am really a newby but I saw both on the JoAnns site and thought I might need one or both.
Thanks,

That is right Loretta....even though I do know some have used the freezer paper to foundation/paper piece. I use reg computer paper to paper piece, just take your stitch length shorter and it makes the ripping later go quick:)
I love freezer paper to applique with for when you iron the shine side down to the back of fabric (after shape is cut from paper, say a leaf) then you can cut your 1/4" around shape....press to back...hem stitch in place 3/4 way around, then reach up and gently give a tug to the freezer paper and it comes right out.....and, you can reuse it again and again:)Great stuff!!:)Skeat

I bought the deli wrap non waxed paper to use for foundation piecing and string piecing after I saw it being used in a workshop. The size I got is 10 x 10 inch square. I got 1000 sheet for about $10 at Sam's Club. I doubt I ever have to buy another box!

Creative use for standard products. The explanations given sound good to me!
