I usually make my own, but sometimes I buy Walmarts binding.

I've always made my own binding. Sometimes on the straight of grain, sometimes on the bias, different widths, depending on the look I want. I use a fabric that's already in the quilt top.

I make mine,too. When I
do scrap quilts, I use leftovers from the quilt or other small pieces and cut them to 2 1/2 inches, sew together on an angle and press in half. Then I have a scrap binding to go with my scrapquilts...

Same here - but I cut mine 2 1/4" and fold in half. It gives me a smaller binding, which I like.

Same here, except instead of putting it in my lap, I put a clean liner in a small garbage can, put the roll of binding in the can, and put it on the floor by my machine. Works for me.

I always make my own, cut 2 1/4" wide and pressed in half. I also always make it at the beginning of my quilt project just so I know it's done and that I have enough fabric to get it done! lol
