I used their threads and great price. Their fabrics have always been very good and can't beat the price. I've bought their patterns and they are very good and I also receive their catalogs. I really think they are great. Sue

Does it compare to well known brands? Thanks.
I have read all nine pages and have not found any negative comments about the thread other than it is linty which I agree with. I love the thread too but it does not work on my newer Pfaff (2034). It sews just fine with my other two older machines. I also have trouble with C & C thread in it too. It will sew for a few inches and be fine but then messes up, like it might be the tension. I have adjusted, and adjusted the tension and it still does the same thing but if I put Gutermann or some other higher quality thread in it, it sews just fine, continuously. I have bought their fabric and thought it was very good, kind of a silky feel to it and you sure can't beat the price.

I have found their thread to be great in my Janome and Brother. Large selection of colors and the price cannot be beat. It is linty, but cleaning regularily solves that problem. The fabric quality cannot be beat and their sales are terrific. I also buy their samples, charm packs, layer cakes and jelly roles. Love the mirages fabrics.
I have not had any customer service problems and order often from them.

Default Shop at Connecting Threads?

I've seen their threads, and wouldn't use them --- too thick, even the "50 weight"
I've seen their batiks, and wouldn't use them --- too thin, even thinner than regular quilt shop fabric.
Several gals in my guild are wild about Connecting Threads merchandise, so I was tempted. When I saw what they had ordered I was glad I resisted. I'd rather have less fabric and use better quality.

I love the fabric from Connecting Threads. I have ordered several kits and they alway include more than enough fabric in the kit. I also use their threads and I love them, although they do have a ittle bit more lint than the rest. But the prices are wonderful. And it is not hard to order more than $50.00 to get free shipping.

They just had batting on sale and I bought a huge box of batting from them, also. It was pre-packaged high quality batting and close to nothing. Their sales are tremendous. I can't pass them by, even if I don't have much left in the bank. I spend my last dollar there.
Sounds like you and I would get along quite well.. LOL
