Guilty as charged even though there is a trash can very close!!! I clean it up so I guess I can toss them on the floor if I want to!!! I sound like a little kid!!LOL

The threads land there, and on me. I always attempt to throw them in the bucket I have sitting right next to me.

It's scary when a long, dark thread shows up in my bathroom. "What the heck is that?" or a snarled up bunch of black thread, "Smack it with the fly swatter in case it's a spider." Funny about the latter, they jump when you smack 'em!

I guess I'm ike everyone else. I have a 2 gallon trash can beside my work space, but threads still find their way to the floor, and me, so I most of the time wear an apron or smock.

omg I do this too....

or when I used to have hair past my waist, and it always ended up snarled up in amongst the laundry, and when folding clothes a snarled up bunch of hair would always scare me... heh

I hate cleaning up the floor so I use clean empty margarine, cottage cheese, etc. type plastic containers of varying sizes as convienent trash cans. I keep one on my sewing table, cutting tables, and ironing table. When they are full, I dump them into a larger waste basket lined with a plastic bag. When that is full, it goes to the outdoor waste bin. I am pretty fussy about not making extra work for myself. :)

I pin a piece of batting (mine is about 6 x 8) on my shirt and everytime I cut a thread I slap it on and it sticks like glue! When I am done I grab the thread off it and throw it all away at once. My DH loves seeing threads on me because he knows I had a good day! ":)

I have two tread catchers but most of my clippings land on me or the floor. And if the kitties are around, they land on them too!

Last year my winter hat was on the table and threads just seem to attach to it. It worked so well that it's still there! Guess I'll have to buy another hat for my head.

I have a little thing hanging off sewing machine and put clipped threads in there. If I'm using a machine where I don't have that, I just put them in a pile next to to the machine. I don't ever throw them on the floor, my cats would eat them!
