LOVE the idea of taking pictures of each finished quilt. Since I am a beginner, I don't give too many away as they may not be good enough yet. I do have a lot of what I call floor quilts for grand babies I hope for that have "educational" prints. I will start my photo collection with pics I already have. Thanks for the suggestion.

Interesting topic. I've been contemplating getting a planner. Bonnie Hunter has one that she has started using. She has them for sale on her website. Haven't heard how they work or if folks like them.
Seems like I have good intentions for planners and the like with other things but, they fall into cracks of life and I don't follow thru. That's something I'd like to learn...the follow thru and discipline needed to record all the stuff.

Good luck on using one and keep us informed of how it's working for you.

I don't have one but I think I would not use any organizational records at all. I just have projects in bins with fabric and pattern and as I go browsing thru my UFO's I have everything in one bin to start a quilt.

I printed Projects at a Glance (free ) from pixelstopatchwork.com. It's well thought out and easy to use. Sadly I needed 2 pages for my WIPs and 1 for my kits/projects I'm still collecting fabric for but haven't cut anything yet.

Nope. It would just be another reminder how far behind I am getting. You know the old expression... the faster I go the behinder I get...
