Could you have some kind of program on your computer that changes other pictures somewhere else? I don't know much about those things, but my son's Mac changes the screensaver pictures it displays as part of a program he picked out. Maybe the same characteristic carried over to your avatar somehow. Help, Patrice, do YOU know what I am trying to say?

OKOK! I did change it that time to the little mini mini quilt. I like to change them often, but I like to do decide when and what! LOL! It hasn't been changing on its own since I changed it to the VW then the teacher mini. Maybe the "ghost" got the hint. I dunno.

I think Sharon is right--too much electrical current in me! :D

YOu all are so fun!

ummmmm ... do you drink? if so, how much and how often?
should we start wondering if the ghost is you? maybe you changed them in your sleep and don't remember?

just thinkin' out loud to stir up trouble.

Hi Patrice;
Thank you, thank you, for the info about getting pictures under names!!

Sorry but haven't been able to get on chat, so all I can do is read things. I think it is our "rinky dink" phone system out here.

Also, tjanks to everyone for all the great quilt info and such, you are all great!! :D

hi back atcha. don't sweat the chat thing. i pay a pretty chunk of change for DSL and have been having problems with it for nearly a month now. the phone guy is coming tomorrow morning for the second time. at least they promised they wouldn't give up until they've figure it out and fixed it. so they've been upgraded from rinky dink to just plain dink.

Miranda, I just have to tell you about my experience now.

I was going to change my little rose to a quilt I'd made. I tried and tried but the quilt didn't show up and the rose came back. Oh, well. I quit and thought I'd try another day. Well, two days later, the rose is gone and there is the little quilt! I didn't have a thing to do with it!!!!!

I think there are Leprechauns, House elves, Menehunes or Sprites or something messing with our minds here!!!

Wonder if the Admin is having a good chuckle over all of this? I bet someone here has a sense of humor. I'm still laughing about it. Perhaps we're supposed to make up our minds and not change our pictures? But women have that right, correct? :D :D :D

You probably need to clear the cache of your browser so that the new image can load.

Ok, Patrice. I did it in my drunken stupor.
Just how big is that spoon you got? I know it has to be wooden.

I am so glad it isn't just happening to me! Not that I'm happy you're having trouble. :P
It's just weird. I haven't had the trouble since I went in and changed my password and all, though.

I read a book once, I think it was a Stephen King, about a little man or leprechaun of some sort hiding in this writer's typewriter. (or maybe it was a movie, but probably a book or maybe it was a movie based on the book--Stephen King's good at that!) anyway, I think I have one in my computer!

Right now I have a BIG problem with my computer or little man hiding in the computer. It shuts down on its own right in the middle of anything I'm doing. Hubby's been working on it. It happens mostly in the evenings. I think it has a virus?
