Default Does this work?

I am working on using up fabrics that I have instead of purchasing new. I am making a little girl quilt for a lady at work and I am happy with the tumbler pattern. I have this pink satin from an old project that I am thinking about making a ruffle for the quilt - but I am not sure if its the right color pink

what do you guys think? does this pink satin work with the quilt - or is it too bold? I can't decide

In my opinion the satin overpowers the top. It's a cute top!

If it were for an adult it might be too bright, but what little girl wouldn't love the sparkly fabric and pink satin?

I agree with dubstep, I do think it overpowers the top and I also think a little girl won’t care one bit.

I think a little girl would love that shiny soft satin.

I don't think it really "works" but if I were a little girl it would!
