I have the Fiskars cutter and it is the one tool I couldn't live without! My daughter has been using it also since she was 6 and I like that she can't cut herself with it. Our Wal-mart still has them and they are way cheaper than when I bought mine when they first came out. You will really like this cutter.

I found the Fiskars 6 by 24 cutter at widgetsupply.com for $40, much better price than Amazon so I ordered the blade changer as well. Final price for both was almost the price of the cutter on Amazon! Looking forward to much straighter cuts in less time.

This item had been discontinued quite awhile ago but there was info on this board that it was being brought back by popular demand. Nancy's notions had it on sale recently for $39.00.

The DD one is very small for the cost. If I didn't have my fiskars one, I would buy the bigger one at Nancy's Notions.
