Someone must have read my mind! I was looking at free quilt blocks tonight on a site (www.ideas-for-quilting.com) and wondering. I got The Triplet. BUT The Big Dipper: Where's anything that looks like a dipper? Crow's Nest: I don't see a crow OR a nest.

hhaahh that Hell is so funny. We have a town called Orange and one called Tangerine...we we are the citrus state lol.

I guess they name those blocks the same way we name towns and our childeren as some have nothing to do with the name.

Well, I was going to mention the town of Climax and googled it so I'd put the correct state and guess what!
Climax is located in: Georgia, Minnisota, Michigan, Colorado, North Carolina, and Texas (that I know of!!)
