    Default night gown/house coat quilt

Several years ago someone posted a beautiful quilt made with her mother's night gowns and/or house coats. I am at that point now since mom passed away recently and I would like to make a quilt for my daughter who was her main caregiver. Unfortunately I cannot find the post with the quilt.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I would find a block that creates a memory of my mom. For instance my mother loved her morning coffee. so I would find a coffee cup block. Maybe a block that reflect where she was born. Or do appliqués of her favorite flower.

So sorry for the recent loss of your mom.

I found this by searching. Not sure if it is the one you saw but the quilt is lovely & may give you an idea for your quilt. If you scroll to post #104 on page 5, she show you how she made the quilt.

Thank you osewme, that is lovely but it is not the one I remember seeing. It is a wonderful option though.

    So sorry for your loss.
This one was made by my nephews mother in law. It was made with my sister's pajamas.
