Does anyone here crochet with the mercerized cotton? My grandmother taughter me many years ago but I rarely do it since she passed. Makes me miss her. She made my daughter and I a Lord's Prayer wall hanging done in white crochet cotton #10 I believe it's called. Mine was lost years ago but my daughters I had framed for her wedding gift and now hangs on the dining room wall.

That said I thought I had passed along all the crochet patterns at a yard sale years ago. When cleaning out quilt books this weekend I found her pattern. It is probably 20+ years old but in very good shape. It's the directions and chart for making the wall hanging using thr filet stitch. I know it is out of print and she'd rather see it being appreciated. It makes a large wall hanging. Once my daughters was blocked, mated and framed it's beautiful. If anyone is interested in having the pattern please let me know.

I crochet using that thread. It is the general thread used for doilies right? I would love to have that pattern. My family is all grown up and moved away, and we have moved into another home. We used ot have a painting of the Last Supper in our dining room, but this house does not have a wall big enough for it. This sounds just the right size for my dining room. I would pay for the mailing if you want - send me your PayPal email and I will send the money that way.

I would definitely be interested. My mother made me the Lord's Prayer & The Last Supper. I do not know what she did with the patterns, but they were not in her things when she died. I don't do a lot of crocheting because I would rather quilt - but filet crochet is my favorite! I would love to make them for my children.

Scrappy cats since you answered first it is yours. I don't need postage as it can't be more than .64 cents. Just pm me your address. I'll get it when I get home tonight and mail it tomorrow. Maybe when you finish you could pass along to Maryls. My grandmother would love to know it found so many new homes.

I crochet and would love to have the pattern as well. Could it be scanned and emailed?

it is probably copyrighted. Even patterns that are no longer published are covered by copyright law. I will look through it when I get it and see what it all says.

Hi all. I looked over the pattern and could not find any copyright. I tried contacting the state of NY corporate registrations and there is no record of the company for the past 10+ years. I mailed the pattern to you Scrappy so hopefully it makes it thru the mail. I think my grondmother would be happy to know it's being used. Below is a picture of my daughter's hanging on the dinig room wall. When she and hubby move I will miss it but it was made for her and I had it framed for their first Christmas gift.

I got this today! thanks
I will be taking it to Staples and asking them to copy it for me. Perhaps they can also digitize it. But if they can only copy it for me, I will get several copies to send to you all.
