Have you tried dyeing your own fabrics? I just took a class last Tuesday and I thoroughly enjoyed the class. I came home with so many beautiful colors of dyed fabric. Now my daughter and granddaughter want to dye some fabric too. I will have to post pictures of some of the fabrics when we get more dyed. My daughter wants to dye a multi color piece for the backing of a quilt she is working on. So, let us know if you have dabbled in this and show some of your results. Thanks

If we get some snow this winter, I'd like to try snow dyeing.

I have been dabbling with the Rit dyes. What kind did you use? I wanted to be sure I liked doing this before I invested in more expensive dyes and stuff. I love watching the different colors come out, tend toward light shades for background colors, have enough solids and want to get away from black white or cream backgrounds which I always use.
