roxans glue works the same and has a long stylus which delivers a very fine drop of glue --my question anyone seen an adapter for the elmers glue or do we have to spend big dollars to get the roxanns equipment??

You can buy Elmer's by the gallon at places like Office Depot and Office Max.

I just use the regular Elmer's top. I've never seen the need for the tiny tip, but they are available in the paint aisle at Joann's from time to time. They are tips for craft paint bottles but fit very well on the Elmer's bottles.

I've used this method for binding and love it. There is a utube on Sharon Schamers. How do you baste the entire quiilt the same way?

I have switched to Aleene's No-Sew fabric glue. It dries really fast and you don't need to iron it dry. I used a wooden tooth pick to put it on my seam joins. None of them came undone before sewing.

I have used Elmer's glue for basting binding on but never for a whole quilt. Add me to the list of those who want to learn how to use it to baste a quilt.
