Which part of the show do you head for first when you walk in the door? Do you go look at quilts, go to demos', the vendor area?

I always look at the quilts first. I can shop anytime but you have to go to a show to see a whole lot of quilts up close and in person.

Its setup where you have to go thru the vendors to get to the quilts.

I check the program to see what free activities are available and then see the quilts, which I'll interrupt for a free demo I'm interested in. Then I'll go shopping. Then I'll go back to see the quilts before I leave and take pictures and then more shopping if my feet aren't screaming to go home.!

I remember running into someone from my guild at Houston a few years back. It was late Saturday morning, and she'd be there since Thursday morning, and was leaving to go home that afternoon. She never even got to see the quilts.
I always look at the quilts first, and refuse to get distracted by the bling at the vendor booths, even at smaller shows. ;)

I'm the same way. I went to Houston for the first time in November, and spent most of the time looking at quilts. Then again, the vendor mall was packed and hard to walk through. But even at local shows I check the quilts out first, then the vendors.

I can't look at all the quilts displayed at one time. They all start to look the same. At the big quilt shows I take in a couple of rows then go to the vendors then back to the quilts many times. Every entry in the Paducah show if shown alone would be the Best so it's hard to see them one after the other and be so overloaded with the best of the best.
