My understanding of this is that you can buy the design, and use it, and even sell the items you've created with your purchased design...the problem is when you trade or sell or share the design you bought. The trademark is on the machine design, not what you do with it.

Seems to me if you can buy Disney designs from them, you can stitch them out no matter what machine you have. My machine came with them, but have no grandchildren so never use them. The few times I have used them, I stopped the stitching before it stitched out the word Disney.

Reply to Mouse, post #3590 - Yes, I've done a few designs with mylar. Just like doing applique. Not difficult. I'd send pictures, but I've tried before and for some reason I can't post any.
