I bought my Janome MC11000 in Dubai and hand carried it home on the plane. Love it!

I have a Brother combination machine. I have had it for about 7 years. I really got into it and my husband bought me a 6 needle one year for christmas. I love both. I agree with the USB port. I wouldn't get one without.

When I was looking for an embroidery machine I put hours in doing research to find the most user friendly machine out there. Out of all the brands on the market I feel the Brother and Babylock Met my needs. I purchased my 1st brother about 10 years ago and have upgraded twice. For the last two years I have been sewing and embroidering on the Brother Duetta 4500D. Love, Love it. I have never had one problem with these machines!

I have a Brother SE270D from Walmart and I love it, it was a gift in 2004 and has been in the shop twice. Once for cleaning. I will upgrade to a bigger Brother for I like their product and I have hundreds of designs in the PES language.

I have a Brother PE770 embroidery machine. It does a great job and I have no complaints, but if I had it to do over, I would definitely choose one with a color screen and a little larger screen than I have. It is impossible to see some of the design breakdown on my smallish, b&w screen. Other than that, I've been happy with mine. My secondary advice is to stick with an embroidery only machine so that you can continue to sew while your emb designs stitch out.

I chose the Brother PE770. Haven't had it long, but I love it. Does up to 5x7 without rehooping. Cost less than $700 on Amazon. Quick to set up and learn. Has USB port for using designs from the web. No additional software required for your computer until you want to digitize your own designs. Lost of software available as it is not proprietary like Bernina.

I have a Babylock EP6 needle. I love it wouldn't trade it for anything. Started out with a Kenmore, but only could stitche out 4x4, then I upgraded. I love the bigger designs so I love my machine.
