I am seriously thinking of purchasing an embroidery only machine. Does anyone have one? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a Brother 750 and love it. I get patterns on line and it works great. I did have to but a separate piece of hardware (PED Basic) in order to use purchased patterns, but it was worth the money. The biggest frame I have is 5 x 7 but there is a bigger one available.

I have the Janome 300E and think it's the greatest since sliced bread! Call your janome dealer and see if they have any used ones in and get it really cheap!

Mine is a PE 750. Sorry. I said just 750 before. It has a little slit on the side. PED basic is a hardware that comes with a card smaller than a disk ad fits in the slit. You can purchase patterns on line with the .pes format and save them in your computer. Connect PED basic to the computer with the card in it and transfer the designs from the computer to the disk. remove the disk, insert in the machine itreads the disk.

Bernina has a deco 340 for around $1200. It's a great machine. I started out with one and upgraded later.
