From what I'm seeing it may either be a 360 or a 362. Does anyone know the difference? This one comes in the cabinet.
Mom says it's yellow so I am guessing a 360. Has the zig zag and uses the cams. Anyone have one of these?

It's a vintage machine but not a particularly popular model for collectors. Where I am, $35 max for the machine assuming machine is in working condition and cabinet is functional and not too beat up. Machines in cabinets are harder to sell because of transportation issues. I have seen something like this sell for $10 to $15 at thrift shops when kind of beat-up or non-functioning.

If it were a gift I'd take it, but I wouldn't spend money on it. Lots of better, vintage machines out there IMHO.

Yeah, they have several older machines. :) http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-121268-1.htm Here are a few of them. I have the 128 and the 99K at my house. Love them BOTH!! They wanted me to take the 66 too. ;) I hope to get it later when I move things around. :) (have to make room for my quilting table and machine)

I've had one of these since 1975 - you'll love this, thought my college boyfriend was going to give me a diamond for my birthday that year and instead he bought me the sewing machine. Kept the machine all these years, lost the boyfriend!!! I've put MANY hours on that machine, mostly making clothes. It's a little tired now and will not start sewing without a little push on the hand wheel, but I think a good session with a repair man can take care of that. I didn't use the cams much, was happy just to have the straight and zigzag stitches. Don't know what to tell you about price, but I would consider it a good starting out machine.

My Dad got the machine.....wasn't thinking about it and cut the cord off the machine. I was like WHAT??? So, it doesn't have the cord now but it is in a cabinet. Looks good. :)

Some of those Singer's have a plastic belt drive under them. It is expensive to replace - you have to find a belt to buy and the repair man has to time the machine $$$$$ The old belts go bad just by sitting there and by use..... There are other fine machines that won't need servicing.
