I am looking for a source for light indigo blue Japanese fabric with the rather plain prints. All blue, no other colors. I am having a hard time finding it. Anyone with a lead, I would appreciate it.

There are some in the Robert Kaufman Imperial collection (Imperial Fusions for instance); some called Hana (not sure which designer, as my favourite online shop sold out of them; and really nice ones by Red Rooster called Sakura in blue or teal, but they are hard to find.

Our "new" shop has the Robert Kaufman Imperial collection (Imperial Fusions); some called Hana. I'll have to check the Red Rooster fabrics we have. When I go to town Friday, I'll check for you and PM you if we have anything that sounds like what you want.

Thanks, Poco. Unfortunately the Imperial Fusions is not what I am looking for. I am looking for traditional Japanese small patterns on Indigo or light blue.

I'll still look and see if we have anything I think you're describing.

Looks like connecting threads fabric is a good place to look. They have many like this. Remember to look in the discounted fabrics too. There is one that is light blue very simular to that.
