    Default How do I quilt this ?

    I might outline quilt the tulips/crocus and then do a dense background like stippling or pebbles to make the tulips pop out. If I stippled the background I might do ribbon candy in the border. Pretty square.

    I agree with Tartan. I can't tell what's in the center, but might put an outine tulip in there before the stippling

    Are you hand quilting? I have found many wonderful designs by looking up coloring pages for kids. Do you like lots of curves? There are so many choices. You could even get a stencil the same size as the cute little quilt.

    I agree that outlining the tulips would make them pop. I might use straight line quilting for the rest of the block as a break from the curved edges of the tulips. Pretty block.

    Looks like you got your answer, thanks to the great quilters on this board. If I were doing it I like what Tartan suggested as it would set the beautiful work off just right.
