Is it possible to add applique blocks to a border with this program? Or how would I do that? I was trying to draw up some of the ideas ya'll gave me on the Love of My Life quilt..and GRRRR..I can't figure out how to add any applique to a border strip. I'm sure I could draw some designs, but how to get them on the quilt?

Also...can you show a scalloped edge with the program? I can't find anything about that in the book. :?

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

When I want to put blocks in the border I select tiled borders. I don't think you can make a scalloped edge with EQ5. I looked in the border styles in EQ6, and scalloped is not one of the choices. Rebecca

Thank you, I think I finally figured it out. I may try laying a block on the border to extend over the edge to make the scallop..maybe that will work.

a great resource for EQ questions is the EQ website - I've posted a few questions on there before and they were answered almost immediately! Good luck with the figuring it all out - especially the scalloped border!

I found the answers- here is the link for the scalloped edge

Also...to post a pic on this board as a jpeg vs. the PDF file...you need to export your image as a bitmap file, save it in a file that you can find. Then open the file in Paint and save it as a jpeg file. That you can just attach as a pic.
