In January at the Tucson Quilt show I purchased a kit to make a Prairie Sampler quilt. It's a large quilt (83x94) and contains loads of fat quarters and eighths for a scrappy look. Yardage for 3 borders and binding were also to be included.
However, when I inventoried the fabrics before starting the quilt, I discovered that yardage for the 2 inner borders and binding was missing.
I e-mailed the store (The Stash Store) and asked about the missing fabrics. Less than 2 hours later I received a reply apologizing for the mishap and that the fabrics would be mailed to me as soon as she is able to return home (she's stuck in the midwest snow storm trying to get home right now).
Now, that's superior customer service if you ask me! :D

Yes, it is. Businesses who go the extra and care about their customers should be rewarded with positive feedback. Happy quilting.

Awesome. How cool that there are some places... usually small, local biz folks that still think about the customer.

That's just great. I hope the owner makes it home okay, and that things at home don't deteriorate while she's gone.
