When my sister was killed in a motorcycle accident, I was trying to sew a pouch together that I cross-stitched Winnie The Pooh on (it was her favorite), so I could put her ashes into it before going into the urn. Anyway, here I am at my sewing machine and I can't get the thing to run for the life of me, I'm calling my Grandmother, she's got no idea, I'm crying, it's midnight, the funeral is the next day.

I had the machine threaded wrong. Crap happens to the best of us. Hope you feel better soon.

Nap, chocolate, tea with whiskey...

Is the bobbin set correctly? If mine is the slightest bit out of kilter, I start breaking thread quickly.

Hope one of the machines starts cooperating soon.

Cheers, K

Double check that your bobbin is in correctly... I have had it in backwards a number of times
I hope you can get one of the machines up and running soon :D:D:D

Stop. Have a drink of--take your choice--wine, coffee, tea, hot chocolate--water?

Take a walk, even if it's around the room. Any room but the one you sew in.

Go kick something large and hard..no, no, NOT your DH or anyone who gets near you.

Go ram your head into a pillow and scream.

Go watch some news on TV and realize how blessed you are.

I fixed it! Took the afternoon and watched movies with the kiddos and did some hand sewing instead. Came back in here and got to thinking ...it sewed fine till I tried to fm....hmm...I watched a youtube video on modifying your fm foot...more hmmm...undid the changes and sure enough it works like a charm! Got a pizza in the oven, another netflix movie picked out,a fire blazing in the woodstove, and a dose of some good old fashioned cold remedy to sip on. Tomorrow I finish this quilt!
