I purchased one of the acrylic extension tables. It broke in the corner where the front extension went around the machine. The husband of a friend took a metal plate, bored holes in it and got some bolts and put it back together. I put duck tape over the top of the bolts to keep from being rough. I am not using 5 - 1x 3/4" round by 3 1/4" high medicine bottles (with screw lids) I plan to get some cement/glue and glue the lids on and then I can unscrew the bottles from the lids if necessary. One day I plan to get 1/4 or 1/2 inch birch cabinet plywood and have one cut, then will use the medicine bottles for legs.
(Incidentially I purchased one of the surrounds that fit around a s. machine in a sewing cabinet - it broke at about the same place but I was not thoughty enough to keep it and repair.) missbelle

Beware that duct tape will get sticky after awhile, I'd use something else if I were you.
