Those of you who live in the midwest, have your heard of a fabric line from Benatrex with the print called Mackinac Island? If so, please let me know.

I use to go to Mackinaw Island every year when I lived in Michigan. My great-aunt owned a home there. Loved going there. Beautiful island. And no cars allowed except for a fire engine. Only bikes and horses allowed. Even the police road bikes. lolll.

P.S. The Bernartex Mackinaw Island fabric is really pretty!

This is the link for the Mackinaw Island fabric. The one that was posted before was called "Return To Mackinaw"

Very pretty, but it can't be the Island without lilacs. The island abloom in lilacs with the horses decked out in purple satin ribbons is a lovely sight.

Thank you all for your replies. I too have been to Mackinac Island at least 3 times.....the first time was so much fun and I have never forgotten all the wonderful colors of the bright sunny summer day. When I arrived the 1st time, I did not not about the sailboat race that starts in Chicago and ends in Mackinac Island. So the first time I was there, the sailboats were coming in from the race and the marina was filled with colorful sails of all boats. Very true, the isalnds does needs it lilacs, never to be forgotten.
