Berevement Quilt
#4
Aldajohn, I just tried to find it and didn’t have any luck but remember seeing it – I think this past week.
Retired RN, she made the quilts to cover the bodies of people who had passed at nursing homes or maybe it was assisted living facilities as the bodies were taken out. The residents who live there stare as the body is being taken out so the pretty quilts look nicer than a sheet. I’m not sure but think the quilts then go to the family to let them know that somebody cares about their loved one who passed away – but could be wrong about this part.

I think this is the one you are looking for. It really touched my heart. I cried when I read it.
