I have a charm pack of children's print flannel and I'm considering mixing regular quilting cotton in with it to make quilts for Japan. Normally, I prewash and dry flannel to preshrink it, but those little squares are sure to fray to nothing. Have any of you used Benartex flannel? Do you know how much it generally shrinks? Thanks. :?:

I haven't worked with flannel, but I'm interested where you are going to send your quilts to for Japan.

Thanks for the info Fabric Fancy. I'll just go ahead and make the squares as intended with all used in a rag quilt. It will be new for me to follow instructions!
